Doggie Dip Closes out Summer Fun at the JCC

The JCC’s annual Doggie Dip returns this year, Sunday, September 21, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The official closing of the summer season at the JCC, Doggie Dip has grown into a member favorite.

This year’s Dip will take place at the Family Pool for larger dogs and Seng Jewelers Wading Pool for smaller pooches. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to area canine charities.

“Members always look forward to this end-of-the-year event,” said Aquatics Director, Johnny Kimberlin. “It is always great to see the dogs get in the water and enjoy themselves.”

Last year’s event drew dozens of dogs and dog lovers to the pool for water fun, splashing and playing with tennis balls.

The event costs $6 per dog, $5 for JCC Members and Members of the Louisville Dog Run. Dogs must have current vaccination records and must be accompanied by their owners at all times.
